Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine

Joshua Eha, L.Ac. is a clinician, professor and lifetime student of Chinese medicine. With over 15 years of experience in meditation, Tai Ji and Qi Gong, he treats the root of disorder through an energetic approach that balances physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of disease—also known as holistic medicine. He has studied with renowned acupuncturists Matt Callison, L.Ac., author of Sports Medicine Acupuncture and creator of Motor Point Acupuncture, and Dr. Wei Chieh Young, the preeminent authority of Master Tung Acupuncture. His powerful combination approach leads to more options and proven results in the treatment room.

Josh Eha enjoys a breadth of experience in San Diego's healthcare system and also serves as a staff acupuncturist at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine. He has taught sports medicine Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and supervised the Acupuncture treatment of NCAA athletes at UCSD. As an Acupuncture liaison to conventional medicine, he works very closely with other medical professionals and continues to lecture on Acupuncture for physicians and nurses from around the country.

Josh’s Acupuncture style engages a healing process which is energetically palpable with each point selection. He uses very few needles and looks to symptomology and the pulse to discern progress continually throughout the procedure. Often, movement therapy is included to assess joint function and muscle tension, which normally begins to subside in the first treatment. Though it may a number of sessions to see long-term, significant improvement, patients love the immediacy of this approach.
